Attn: rotaryextreme - FEED replica wing
Just wanted a progress report. I was disappointed to see that the release date listed on the website was pushed back a whole month.
Where did the old thread go anyway? Couldn't find it in a search.

Here are some photos of the progress
Those photos show the unfinished product. They still need to be trimmed and sanded. You can see the difference between the buffed wing and unbuffed one. The machine shop is still making the adjustment screws and side plates. I am really trying hard to get them done for you guys but the delay is not something I had planned for. Sorry about it. If you can't wait any longer, I can give you full refund.

Chuck, thanks for posting the update with photos. As far as the delay, It's not a problem for me. Winter is still in the air here and my FD won't be on the road anytime soon. BTW, the wings are looking GREAT!

Photos of the Carbon fiber side pieces
These are the photos of the carbon fiber side pieces. They are just popped out of the mold, still untrimmed, unsanded, and unclearcoated. Looking nice already. This is something FEED doesn't even offer. Pretty nice huh?

Thanks for the update Chuck. I'm getting excited.
Two questions:
I've never bought anything in CF. Will it need any prep work or will it be ready to go on the car right out of the box?
Will the acrylic adjustment plates need any prep or will they be polished black?
Looks great so far!

Scott:
The CF flap has a thin clear coat on it. When your bodyshop paints the sides, ask them to put another 2-3 UV protetion clear cot on it to bring out the 3D look of the carbon fiber even more.
The Acryilc plates are glossy black. You don't need to paint them.
