Bah, chamois suck ***! I got a car detailing kit for a b-day present a few years ago, tried the chamois ONE time, and afterwards threw it in the trash! *Nothing* soaks up water better than cotton towels do.

Best chamois that I found is from Pep Boys or somewhere else: it is like a real chamois but it is blue and comes in a cylinder can. That thing is 100 times better than the real chamois.

Hey Ramy-

The wax as you dry system do work pretty nice, however they don't last very long. You will notice a slight difference after you wash the car though.

When it comes to the California Water Blade, it's a great tool. Makes drying a ton easier, all my friends (who you know, too) have them and love 'em. Just be careful not to hit the body of the car with the handle, which can be easily done if your not careful.

Talk to you soon!

Speedking, the cotton towels don't leave tiny cotton ***** behind? I'd think some fine "dust" or cotton ummm particles I guess at the least?

Ramy -
Yeah man all of us will definitely get together again once the weather starts getting warmer. By then my car will be ready too, and Dave and Dan have done/are doing some serious work to their rides. And we'll get all the PA guys to come down again also! I look forward to it...

Dave and I have been talking about whether or not we're going to RR this year, we're not sure yet. Why can't you make it?

They work well, just make sure you keep it super clean all the time. When I use mine, I spray it off before and after using it to make sure nothing sticks to it....

Hey I found a wheel/spoke cleaner brush... it's made by OXO. Anyone ever heard of this or use it before? http://store.bikedepot.net/oxospwhbr.html
