Anyone know anything about lock poppers/keyless entry units?

Hey guys,
I have a Widebody FB project, and the door locks are shaved, but I am wondering as to what I should be looking for, for a good, reliable door lock popper kit. The door handles are NOT shaved, so I just need a keyless entry system. I noticed that they come in different ratings (in pounds) so offiously a higher rating is a better unit, I am just wondering how many pounds I will need?

Also how hard is it to install these things? I have very good mechanical knowledge, I just like to know what I am getting myself into ahead of time. The solenoids look like they get mounted some place in your doors? I just really want a setup that is going to be reliable.

And if you guys have heard of a good company selling these units please let me know. Any advice is appreciated!

If I understand you correctly, you have a door handle on the inside and outside, but you do not have a keyhole or a manual lock/unlock on the inside? If this is the case, you don't need the popper solenoids - those are for people who shave the outside handles. If you don't have power locks, you will need to add actuators, which can be purchased at many auto parts stores. If you do have power locks, you just need an alarm or keyless entry system which triggers the existing solenoids.

I do have handles inside and outside, and the car does not have power locks so then I need actuators? Is there a brand you recommend and what else is going to be involved? Thanks

I think dansco makes them. You will need to find a place to mount them and run the wires out the door, and to a keyless entry unit or a button of some sort.
