any good bass speaker and quality for the rear speaker
I need a pair of nice quality and bass speaker in the back of my 1989 FC. Any brand and link for the speaker? and what size are the oem one so I can buy a direct fit back on to the same spot. thanks guys
well, make a short, I need some quality speaker for the rear blown speaker. I want the one that can produce good amount of bass and quality sounds. thanks if someone can give me a link on the speaker that would be great. thanks
ebay.com for the record i dont think you can get a "good amount of bass" out of a 6.5 speaker. I could be wrong though. I have never tried. Maybe you should get a good set of rear speakers and get an infinity basslink or something. 8" amplified subwoofer thats small and light and simple.
I understand and I have a pioneer deck so I could boost the speaker a bit higher than oem one. yeah infinity is good and apline is also a good candidate. I just want to know what people got to say about it.

6.5's don't even produce mid-bass, 6x9's do
your not gonna get bass out of anything you can put in the towers. i have the nice infiniti component setup and it has no bass, so i added a infiniti perfect 12"

Your are not correct about mid bass. Also you should hear a stock 01 cavaliers sound system... i swore it had a subwoofer. I am going to be installing my Polk mmc6500's in my car and they dont have the air movement of a subwoofer but I made something to test them out and at 75 watts rms a piece they are shaking glass downstairs from my room upstairs. The only thing is these speakers only sound there best when I am at 60%+ volume.
Also stock sound systems almost always have a little bass. I have never sat in a cavalier, and never plan to, but my sound system in my 02 altima sounded decent. everything was designed for the car. Now, when I ripped all that out and set in a focal component set, fusion 6x9s, 2 orion oldschool 15s, a cap, a 400 watt memphis amp, an mtx 1800 watt sub amp, and distribution blocks, I had plenty of bass, but none coming from the 6.5s in the doors.
