Antenna signal of the stock S5 CD-cassette system?
OK guys, here is my problem
I really wanted to have the CD-casette combination radio from the S5 cabriolet in my S4 coupe. Why? because I wanted something old for the old car But there is one problem: I cannot get the radio to raise the antenna.
There is an aftermarket telescope-antenna build into my FC. I also want to keep it cause it is also that old 80s style stuff.
This is how the antenna works:
two cables
blue: current for the antenna-motor, lowers the antenna if there is no signal at the red cable
red: when 12 V added, the antenna raises
I thought the antenna signal from the radio is 12V but it doesn't seems to be. So my question is : what kind of signal does the radio send to the antenna (would send to the stock a antenna)
best regards
