Antenna not working

I can't get the power antenna on my '87 to work. I finally got my aftermarket stereo working but the antenna does not come up when the radio comes on like it did in my other car. I do, however get some decent reception but not like I would if the antenna were up. Any suggestions?

You can hook the power antenna wire up to the remote wire on your new deck. That should make it go up.

Umm... but the power antenna wire is like a plug. It's not a wire. I'll try to get some pics up of how I have it set up.

You need to get a RELAY!!!! do a search for power antenna relay in the 2nd gen section. It's pretty easy to install. It also only costs about $4, but you need connectors and wire.
