another hood pin question

I've seen hood pins installed directly behind the headlight covers as well as in between the covers. Which is a structurely better place to install them?

depends on your hood. You can also install them in both places...

T-rex,
I heard that hood is ok in the strength department, so I would say above the headlights. Is the hood on now?

There is a very nice place to insert pins into the frame (hood bump stops I believe) here where mine are located above the lights.
