Amp under 3rd gen seat ?

Anyone put a 4 channel amp under the driver/passanger seat ??

Amp under FD seat.

Truthfully I don't think it's possible. If you look under there you will see that the seat bottom springs are exposed so that when you sit in the seat those springs come close to touching the carpet. I would mount the amp under the rear storage compartments, plenty of room, and also puts the added weight in the lowest most central area of the car. That whole plastic piece back there comes out, this is also the recommended spot for most of the battery miniturization kits.

NOT in a 7

There is not enough cooling (or maybe even mounting) space under RX-7 seat, if you do manage to d it, your amp will over heat too quick due to the lack of space.

There ARE amps with built in fans, so if you find yourself one of those, cooling may not be too much of an issue, but space will...
