amp help

hey guys, here is what came in my project car:
2 stock bose door speakers with small amps (not hooked up though)
2 bose subs in the wave tube, no amps
stock am/fm, cd, cassette setup

I'm fairly certain I don't have the center console amp (is it in the center dash console or the center console under the transmission cover?). What is the better method here, getting the stock center console amp and sub amp or just buying one after market amp to run everything. I know nothing about this stuff so please suggest some nice, low price amps that will run everything. I guess I need a 5 channel amp to run subs, doors, and dash speaker right? what kind and power do these things draw. feel free to tell me i'm an idiot if i'm not making any sense

thanks

The BOSE system is only 3.5 channels - the door speakers each have their own amps built into their enclosures and operate as independent L/R channels- the Sub has 2 Drivers (speakers) but they operate together as a single channel w their own Amp mounted in the 'WAVE" enclosure, the Center channel is senthysised from the L&R channels by the center channel amp. The Ctr Amp is mounted under the dash just to the left of the glovebox.
The BOSE drivers are most likely 2ohm and iirc the door amps are 35 watt each, the Subs are like 65 watt combined, and the center amp is 25watt.

I think the center channel amp was moved to the center console, bolted to the tranny tunnel, in '94+. I have a '94 and spent half an hour looking for the amp by the glovebox where the FSM says it is. After some time of serching, someone mentioned it being under the center console. 5 minutes later I had the amp in my hand.

If your sound system is hacked up, you may be better off getting an aftermarket sound system. In the long run, you'll be much happier.
