I recently purchased an Audiobahn 10alumQ sub. This sub has a dual 6ohm voice coil configuration and 800watt RMS.

I need advice on what amp to purchase both kind or amp and power needed. This amp will only push this one woofer.

Id say buy a Hifonics 1000D...this pusheds 750 watts RMS. This would be good for this sub. The 1000D is advertised as 1000watts, but actually puts out only 750. Real good amp though. if you want 1000 watts, Ill sell you my 1500D, which puts out 1000 instead of the advertised 1500. It would work real good with your sub. PM me if you are interested.

 

That ALUM10 will not handle 800 watts rms. Ive been an authorized audiobahn dealer for 5 years now. id get something small. ive powered two of those with the a2801q 560x1 amp
