I have a alpine cd player i am looking to install into my 87 TII Rx7. I am just wondering how you guys mounted it into the the console. I havnt tried yet but it seems like the area is way to big and wont be able to bolt in there witout some kind of custom work. Maybe I am wrong though?

 

If you're referring to filling in the double-DIN space, you're going to need a dash kit like this:

You probably also want to look at getting a harness while you are at it if the wires haven't been cut. It makes life easier.
