I say go for Recaros... not just any Recaro's, rare ones. Preditors, SP-GT2, spg2/3, Wild cats, tom cats, firestream, winning rocket, Spa, ect. (for those that don't know, you'll only find these rare seats in Japan) I love the Recaro line up, pretty pricey.

FG rails, or Low Max seat+rails?

How's the head room compared to the stock seat?

I need to decide on which kind of rails to get...

the FC can't use low max rails unfortunately. I'm using the FG rails, the seat is a Zeta 3 sport.

Headroom is...decent. I wish i could get a little lower. I am 6'2" however. My hair brushes the ceiling, I keep wondering if a helmet will fit. On a whole, i think the seating position is 2 inches lower than stock.

Damn, if that's the case I need to get them... 2 inches would be great.

My hair already brushes the ceiling with the stock seat, which drives me nuts... not to mention the issues headroom plays when fitting a roll cage or wearing a helmet...

Did you take the seat cushion out, or is it two inches with the cushion in?
