aftermarket pedals for fd

I was wondering if anyone makes a good aftermarket set of pedals for the fd. I don't want any universal one's they don't fit... the stock pedals are too big. I'm looking for aluminum or aluminum with black or carbon fiber. I at least want to replace the gas pedal since the stock clutch and brake pedals are pretty cool. That's basically the look I want to achieve is silver or silver and black with those little circle thingies in them. Any help is welcome. I like brands like sparco (love them) and Razo... basically a quality touring car style pedal. Thanks in advance!

I haven't found any "pedal replacements" for the FD, only a few overlays that can be used.

The infamous AARotary here on the forum had a custom install of some Sparco pedals. I have the same pedals, but it would be a lot of work to get them mounted:

If you don't mind custom fabricating, then you can replace the pedals. If not, then pedal overlays are the best you'll be able to do.

You may want to PM Sled Driver and ask him about his pedals. They are replicas of the jspec pedals found in the type RZ models.

Here's his website so you could see for yourself. http://home.attbi.com/~elkozak/MainPage.html

Those are not "replacement pedals", which is what he is/was looking for (he's looking for smaller pedals). Those just bolt on overtop of the current FD pedals.

those pedals actually replaces the rubber ones that came stock (FD's have that too right? mine is an FC so i don't know...) and they fit perfectly and doesn't slip off like some of those cheap overtop ones

Actually the stock fd pedals are metal except for the gas pedal which is covered in rubber. Mahjik: you must have misunderstood my thread. Sorry it was my fault I can see how you did though... I was looking for the overlaping kind. I was hopeing that there was a set made specifically for the fd which goes over the stock ones. What I meant about the stock pedals being too big is that the universal kind which go over your existing pedal are too small... the stock pedals are too big for the overlaping ones that I have tried. They are supposed to be universal meaning you can put them on a civic, celica, etc... but I guess they truley aren't universal since the stock pedals are too big. I like the size of the stock pedals but going smaller wouldn't bother me too much as long as they aren't tiny. I like the sparco's you linked. Do you have to cut your stock pedals off and put those ones on? If so where would I go to have that done. I could do it myself if I had the right tools... also how much do those sparcos cost? Probably a pretty penny but I think they're worth it. I'll PM the others guys to see what help they can be. Thank you guys for all your help. Man I love this forum...quick, to the point answers that never steer you wrong.. well most of the time. Later guys!

Sorry, I still don't have those pedals mounted. They are pretty cheap (around $50-60, can't remember exactly), you can order those or ones like them from here:

http://www.sportscar-parts.com/

You'll have the pull the entire pedal assembly out (for the people with FC's and didn't read my first link, the pedals are NOT the same for the FC and FD). Break the welds of the pedal, and then fab some way to attach the new pedal. You could weld a smaller piece of metal in place of the pedal that's just large enough to enable you to drill holes for the replacement pedals. That was my idea to get the Sparco's mounted, but it was just too much trouble and I had other things that needed more attention. I may still try it after I get some other things taken care of with the car.

There are some other aftermarket pedal overlays that work which are OBX Racing pedals:
