Plastic paint : SEM Color coat - works on vinyl and plastic. After a couple months, there's a couple scratches on the strikers, but as I wear 3" heels, that's no surprise. Otherwise, it works really well. Hasn't peeled off of vents, console, ash tray, glovebox, back trim or cubby holes. I'll post pics once the camera is fixed.

I'm not crazy about the look of the seats, since the stock seats are not pleated at all. However most people wouldn't know this and it would give a worn out interior a nice facelift for sure.
You should be able to buy some black interior plastic for the seats pretty cheaply, used.
Why did you paint the doors, seems like that would be a bad idea. Why not just clean them up or something? I can understand someone with a tan interior who wants black trying to paint it, but painting black black?
I'm curious about the carpet. I'd like to see more pictures of it if possible. A lot of us would rather have black carpet, if the tan carpet can be dyed pretty well then a lot of people will want to try it.

Wade....
I painted the doors just to update the look. After 8 model years the sun does take a toll. Dont get me wrong, the stock interior is very sun resistant and durable. But after painting the doors a semi gloss, I get a very, very deep black. I am not a big fan of the high gloss, but semi gloss looks real nice. Its like the doors going from a very light black to a deep dark black. Just looks better IMHO.
You really have to see the carpet in person. I would bet that 99.9 pct of the people would have no idea it was tan before. If your able to get black carpet used, maybe its worth it, but this is an inexpensive way and it looks very good. I see it like this, the carpet has floormats and the seats covering 90 pct. So it does not have to be as perfect as the rest of the car. Just my opinion.
Zerobanger!
Very nice touch on that leather cover. I have to agree with you the stock tan leather from Mazda is really bad in quality and comfort, it hurts me all over the place driving long distance sitting in them. Now that I got Suede seats from R1, it's like night and day difference. I bet that's what you felt on your new leather too because they look very comfortable.
Enjoy!
