AD9 Hood - Group A Motoring

So I wanted to just post here and give a report on my experience.
I've been wanting to get an AD9 hood but an authentic one is expensive and the shipping is killer to the states.
So I saw Shine Auto is supposedly working on one but there has been little info on it in several months and no reply when asked about it.
I found a user on ebay who claimed to have copies for sale but after a month and being told he had no eta when it would be ready to ship, I backed out.

So I came across Group A Motoring on Facebook.
Seems to be a little info on them here on the forums but not much. Old info seemed hit or miss but stuff from newer members appears they have good quality hoods.
So I sent the facebook page a message asking about it.

The owner got right back to me and I must say he's been quite easy to deal with. Always quick to respond to my questions and very professional about it.
He asked me what I was looking for and I informed him I was wanting to get an AD9 hood in FPR.
He informed me that he was actually in the process of finishing one up and could have it by the end of the week.
He then sent me pictures of prior hoods he's done as well as the AD9 hood mounted to show how fitment would be on the car.
He also informed me it would come with carbon fiber rain guards.

So after speaking some more I bit the bullet and had him invoice me.
He told me he'd get right on it and expected it to be done by the end of the week but to give him an extra week if issues came up.
I told him no problem. That was monday night. Today (wed) he messaged me and let me know the hood was done and being shipped out this afternoon.
He sent pictures of the hood.
I'm excited and can't wait to get it. So far it's been a great experience.
I'll post more once it comes in to show fitment and finish.
Pictures of the hood he sent me are attached below.

I don't think they're a sponsor here so not sure if I can post price.
They're on Facebook, under the name Group A Motoring.
It'll cost slightly less shipped to your door then what it cost just to buy an authentic RE-A one in japan, before shipping.

Just received mine

I just received mine and installed it, the genuine one will have a sticker on the backside of the hood, it will also have rain guide. It is a very snug fit and mine was rubbing the headlights abit when I pop the head lights. Good luck with your purchase.
