WA ?????????

I ran across something the other day that I've never seen before. Was at the tow yard and they had a 2nd gen sitting there. At first glance it looked like a normal vert, but upon closer inspection I found it had what we use to call a Hollywood top, which is like a T-top without the center support so the front hAlf of the top comes out as 1 piece all the way across. The back half was like a retractable hard-top. I wish I had taken my camera so I could get photos. The guy at the lot said it was the owners car and he didn't know anything about it. Anybody ever seen one like that?

So the verts all have this kind of top? I thought they were just normal convertible tops.

Check this pic out for a 2nd gen with the middle section removed. Is this what you saw?
