Personally i like the rounds, becuase pistons are round and thats what powers my Fd. Kinda ironic if you ask me.

 

I think it would have been cool if you had htem rotating.. kinda like they are in motion...

I must admit I was expecting a more positive response about the lights. Everyone thats seen them in person has loved them, maybe they were just being nice? Whatever, I love em, and I like being unique.

 

We did the 99 conversion on 2 FDs this weekend, and discussed using rotors as well as other designs. The best idea was to use smiley faces.

 

Mi no likey...But if you like it, that what really counts....and the smileys would be cool as ****!

my 2c; If I had done it (and I wouldn't), I would have used that pattern upside-down (ie: pointy bit down)

I just tring to give people some other ideas. The rotors are cool. I respect any one that is tring something different.

I dont really think theyr that great. They dont flow with the rest of the car. I would have put a black circle in the center of the rotors to better get the point across of what they were

 

i think the spacing between the rotors should have been more even. you know, the brake rotors are close together and the turn rotor is kinda "out there".

Yeah it's ok since it is unique. But I still think nothing looks as good as the round ones.

 

while its commendable for its uniqueness, sorry im not into the whole "look i have rotor, i are cool" thing with the rx8 having the rotor shifter, rotor seat headrest things, etc...

It's different yes, but I personally don't see the need for rotor references throughout the vehicle. I go with the more "tame" looking 99spec rounded lights, but for what it is though, rzograbian did a good job.

 

Not my cup of tea, but cool nonetheless. When I did my conversion I thought about either doing Mazda symbols or the efini logo.
