I've been searching for pictures that would help me make my mind up for my spoiler options. I have a wanga style wing right now. But I want a 99 spec one. Since they're a little pricy I thought about maybe going wingless.

So if anyone could post pictures of their wingless, 99 spec front fd that would help me make up my mind. Thank you!

 

IMO wingless is the only way to go. Wings just make the car look like another ricer. FD's are better than that.

I like the whail tail on the 7s. Its very low profile and to me looks better than without the spoiler. I don't think the 99 spec is so bad either. Look at the spirit R pics on the web and imagine it without thing wing. I don't know what it is, but I think the 99 spec wing really enhances the look of the 99 spec front.

I don't know if people know this or not but the coefficient of drag is alot higher with the 99 spec car than the 93-95s.

I think he means the 99 spec.... Well, you should definitely either go 99 spec or wingless. It would look way better than the wing you have on it right now =P

I was referring to the 99 spec and the whale tale wing. Both all full of win.

I think we can all agree that either of the 2 spoilers or no spoiler at all look great. Oversize spoilers just kill the look though. Personally, I think color plays an important factor on whether going wingless looks best. That 7 looks extra clean without the wing but the titanium gray spirit R looks better with the wing imho.

 

 

I'm just not a fan of the '99 wing. To me, it looks totally generic.

Nice 7, but I think the 99 spec front is asking for a 99 spec spoiler. I just can't get myself into the wingless scene


I agree! And its hard to figure out CYM cuz there aren't too many different looking CYM's out there.

But I think the 99 spec spoiler will look better on my car than wingless. Idk though

 

Wingless just looks like there is something missing to me...(Which I guess is true)
99 spec with carbon centre and side covers looks great in my opinion - not the cheapest of options though.

 

I'll prob have a 99spec with CF center section for sale in a few months I picked it up a while back but I don't think I'll be putting it on any of my cars.

Personally, I like my 99 spec front with the factory R1 wing.

I'd say to go wingless you definitely need some oem or FEED side skirts.
