99 Spec front ground clearance
I am planning on removing my C-West front asap (looks silly w/o side skirts) and putting on the 99spec front.
Does the 99 spec sit closer to ground than the C-west? (same suspension setup in both cases)

Wow, how did you get a mazda rx7 in bangladesh?
yeah the roads are pretty crazy over there...the road bumps are either big huge flat ones, or short pointy ones...they are annoying. This is me talking from my childhood days (born in bengal).

Hoping that the 99 spec gives me even an 1" or more, that way I can keep the mazdaspeed. Wanted to confirm with fellow forum members.

I'm going to have to get larger rims just to raise it back up a bit.

I had 17" RE-A wheels + Tein coilovers. I believe it was lowered ~1.3-1.8 (don't remember the exhact figures) inches front and rear. I had Tripoint align my car and they set it... but I do not have the documentation anymore to verify this.
I had the FEED front (which I can guess has clearances similar to your C-West) and that scraped on many things... sometimes because you have no choice, and sometimes because you are human.
I switched to the 99spec bumper + lip. I did not adjust the ride height, and only scraped on driveways and speedbumps from hell. It is very reasonable, and driving your car around in everyday conditions becomes a lot more enjoyable (well it did for me at least)... of course you still have to be careful.

And like 7_rocket said, do you have any pics of your car?
I could try to find pics, but it is no longer my car. I sold it about a year ago.
I looked thru the forum and found: https://www.rx7club.com/attachment.p...chmentid=91928
(iirc 7_rocket already saw this)
But that is a pic of it with the FEED bumper... I will have to dig thru personal pics to find one with the 99spec front. I'll let you know if I come up with something. But according to the new owner the car already has gone back to FEED (Type2R this time), so I can't ask him for a pic of it currently.

This is the only pic I have.
It has FEED fenders so that angle makes it look like theres a lot of gap, but the car is not raised or anything like that... its just a bad pic taken in a hurry (right before i sold it). *sniff, sniff*
I hope this can help put fear the fears to rest. The 99 spec is a good way to go IMO.
