99 Spec front bumper install

Has anyone have any idea on what those three tabs w/holes are for in the main air damn area? I'm talking about the three tabs that look squarish and have holes in them that look like they would be screwed down to something. They are circled in blue...

Also, I'm wondering if the 99 Spec comes with a new brace that replaces the OEM brace. It's that plastic piece that's in front of the radiator. Thanks!

the 99 spec fd has one of the plastic pieces that is different then the stock one ...the bumper is fine with out fastening it down there....if your worried about it just get that piece, or you could cut them off, or get a piece of pvc pipe that will fit under it and attach it to the undertray and then fasten those tabs there...the pvc pipe will be sandwiched between the two so you will not see it...

Do you know where I can buy that plastic piece from? And also, would I need a 99 rebar or undertray to make it fit?

The plastic piece I am not sure where to buy...try corksport or maybe PM FDNewbie he maybe able to get you one...as for the rebar it is up to you ...it may make the install a little easier if you were to do it yourself, but I did not get it because I modified mine to fit the 99 bumper...all you really need to do is cut the upper part of the turnlamp openings on the rebar bigger... this allows the backside of the 99 spec bumper turnlamp openings to fit in there...most people will just cut the ends of the rebar off to make it quick and easy...as for the undertray, the stock one can be modified to work... I have the 99 undertray, so I am not exactly sure where it will need to be cut...hope that helps you out...
