i know this may have been brought up before but i didn't come up with much by searching..

anyone know of anyone that makes a replica of the 99 front end, or is the one you can buy for like $1,500 (front end, lip, turn signals, fog lights) considered a replica, since they are being put on the 93-96 rx-7?

basically im just asking if there are any places that may have copied the kit and sell it for cheaper, maybe without the front licenese plate holder too, but with is still fine..

 

btw, i know of the pettit replica without the plate, but does anyone make a replica, so to say, with the plate holder?

 

not that i know of. in the group by section, they have something going in regards to that. the one offered for 1500 is the actual front end from the 99+ FD's, thats why you have to get the 99 rebar for it to fit. The "replica's" dont require a new rebar.

Try pettit racing they make a 99 replica w/ out the plate piece. They run for $550. That does not include the lowerlip or f-lamps.

 

yah in my second post i mentioned pettit.. but i was looking for one with the plate holder that would be considered replica, or just cheaper..

id probably looking to get the turn signals too for the kit, cheapest ive seen them is like 340 :/

the 99 lip i saw for like 250 also... so even with the petit thats

550 + 340 + 250 = 1090... thats a lot just for setting up a front end in my postion :/ if only the turn signals werent so much..

 

1300 + 80 for shipping can get you the original 99 spec front (170 for the lower lip) from the RX-7 store run by Jason. Im ordering mine in 3 weeks. Lets start a 99 front end club ^_^
