So I was in the mists of building my rx7 I had received it with the thought that I could buy a new oem roof but I had no luck does anyone know where I can get one the current one in the car is rusted through due to years of neglect I wouldn't even mind if it was used off a wrecked car I just don't want a roof I can see through the metal of

 

Where did you try to buy the roof skin? They're still available.

Your pain is shared, man. You can look in this thread where kensin laments that Kaigreenfd bought the last available non-sunroof roof skin in the US. You might check with kensin to see if he has sourced one anywhere else.
