I am wanting to hookup my Kenwood CD player does anyone know what the stock wires are for the RX-7?

There is a white wire

and a blue wire with a single connector

then the connector with 3 plugins
(red wire and 2 others)

I dont know what these are for.

does anyone have a diagram of what all the plugins are?

I was hoping not to have to spend 16 bucks on a wire
harness, from Best Buy.

You should not cut the factory harness, and you should purchase an aftermarket harness adapter.

If you must butcher your car I would suggest you search, as the wires have been posted about a bizillion times

 

I have connectors that will plug right into the wiring harness in the car without cutting the wires. So I dont
intend on "butchering" anything I will spend the 16 bucks before I do that...
I guess I will keep searching then...

here is how i did the past few systems, you will need a power detector or whatever they are called, the lil probe with the light on it.You will need to find the constant power wire and that. make sure the probe is grounded or you may blow the deck, ive done it before your deck will smoke and then you cray for about 10 min b/c you wasted about 200+ bucks on the cd player that is now uselsess. anyways after you find the constant power wire hook it up then you will need to set the car on starting it in not nessesary, find that and then you will just need to hook up the speaker wires trial and error always worked for me b/c you cannot hurt the deck this way you will just need to make sure the wires are going to the right speakers, anymore questions ill try to help
