Has anyone tried putting 6x8s in place of the stock rear speakers. I have searched around and people have gotten 8s and 6.5s to fit but 8s are rare and there are some pretty nice 6x8s that I'm thinking would outperform 6.5s.

 

I just leave it at 6.5. Just get high quality speakers and you'll have nothing to worry about. Just my humble opinion though.

 

I just figured if I'm going to be making mounts anyway I might aswell get the most out of it. Plus I'm probably not going to run a big sub (bazooka would even be enough) and the 6x8 infinity looks like it goes a little lower than the 6.5 (49 vs. 53). If no-one has any input I figure I may aswell try it, they're the same cost.
