What do you guys think? The thought came across my mind and I'm wondering if these will fit: http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Produ...8C65VT4&tp=111

Thanks in advance.

you will have to make a custom bracket and the depth might be too small i dont want to go out and check.

Why? Your better off with seas, morel or peerless/vifa mid instead, it would be shallower and fit the application better. You can read more about midbasses at diymobileaudio.com

I have 6.5 rainbow pro comps in the rear and 5.25 rainbow pro in the front with 12" soundsplinter rl-p and it sounds AMAZING.

another issue would be trying to create an enclosure for the woofer. to get the full benifit of a sub it needs to be in some sort of box. it would be much simplier just do a 6 1/2 component set instead of a 6x8 and then add 8's or 10's under the rear strut bar. a 6 1/2 speaker is also going to be limited on how much bass it will be able to put out
