3rd gen seats in 2nd gen?

Will they bolt right up, or was the bolt pattern changed? My 2nd gen's are in pretty crappy condition and the 3rds look better and feel alot more comfortable

I've read they are completely different and would be a pain to adapt

Okay, a word to the wise. I did this once on my friends TII. He had Sparco's in his FC before geting the FD seats (don't ask why he went back to FD seats, I don't know) and the install had some problems. The brackets and sliders of the Sparco's were NOT usable for the FD seats so I had to rework the entire bracket config. on both seat positions. But after we got the brackets modified and seated well for the FD seats, there was no problem.

The seats "SHOULD" go in without any clearence issues. In fact, I think that the TII seats are larger than the FD's seats.

Also, I believe that if you have FD OEM brackets with the seats, they'll go in like a hot knife through butter.

Good Luck!
