3rd gen seats in a 2nd gen?

is it possible has anybody done it? what do you need to change? good seating position?

Reason i ask is the 2nd gen seats in my S5 are really letting the whole car down and there seems to be alot of nice 3rd gen seats for sale out there

Id bet you would end up sitting much higher. The 2nd gen seats have a very low profile to them

Well i just bought some nice 3rd gen seats off a friend for a good deal over the winter im going to modify my Planted seat brackets to be able to accomodate then if in the end i dont like them im positive i can still sell the seats for a profit, il let you know how they turn out

Anybody who is interested in doing this, Stop! You need a great deal of machining skill and patience. I ran out of the patience part... For now
