3rd gen. rear speaker conversion
Does anyone know where i could get a conversion to fit a 5x7 in the back panel. Stock i had the bose system so the rear panels just have a storage compartment or shelf like thing on the sides. so ive seen a conversion kit before, but dont remember where. Thanks

The stock non bose uses 5x7 size . My mechanic put in 6x9s in his 94 .non bose. Not a bolt in with big magnets .Find some one parting out a car to get the panels and the stock speaker mounts. If you want 6x9s you will need to modify the 5x7 mounts and other things to get the 6x9s under the stock grills .

hey man look up the Euro Versions of the Rx-7 , the Bose system outside of the US has Rear speakers. ... they mount on the side... not in the compartments are.. above that to the right..
we had one At Dragon Motor Sports, and it looked Awsome. i think it was a 94 or 95 ...
its a nice way to spruce up your Rear interior.. i guess you would get them from JT imports. i think. they should have them
