2nd Gen STEREO SPEAKER SETUP Help WIRING?
hey. i have a few questions on the wiring on FCs.
my head-set speakers are blown so they dont work.
I just bought two 6 by 9 speakers.
I want to put them right next to the spare tire (88' conv) in the rear..
How do the wires work? I went to my local auto sound shop and they wanted $325 to put them in the doors (thats w/ purchase of the speakers) w/ tweeters or $225 (w/ purchase of speakers) in the rear. The rear seems like an easy job so i want to do them my self.. but I have no clue with the wiring. How do the wires go in the FCs? How can i connect them to the rear? THere are bunch of wires when i take out the rear pad (that covers the spare) are any of these audio wires?
Please help.
Thanks. diagrams or wateva would be really help ful too.

Hey I got the same car but red! Any ways I dont really understand what you are trying to do. Are you trying to wire your 6x9 to the speaker wires that run to the headrests?

no, they are not audio wires.. theyre all for lighting and aas if u have it. the audio wires run.. funnily enuf.. to the rear speakers.. you'll have to remove them and crappy amp below them to get to the original wires
