I want to replace the speakers in my 1988 Convertible. The door speakers, the dash speakers and the headrest speakers. I also want to add a couple of subwoofers and amp.

My questions:
1. What are the door speaker sizes?
2. What are the dash speaker sizes?
3. What are the headrest speaker sizes?
4. Where can I add a couple of subwoofers and amp?
5. Would a couple of subwoofers fit behind the seats? Where would be the ideal location for a couple of subs and amp, other than the trunk?

Also, there was a pioneer deck installed when I bought the car. The headrest speakers dont work at all.

I want to replace the headrest speakers, but what do I need to do to get the headrest speakers to work with an aftermarket stereo?

just so you know the 89 vert door interior could be used in your car (im pretty sure) and would allow you to put a much biiger speaker in the door to give way better bass. since your running an aftermarket head unit youd get better sound if you got 89+intereor door setup..it allows for a 6.5 inch that will give better lowend bass and fuller sound quality..and still look completely stock.

i got 3 10' subs, and two amps, under the top where the spare tire goes, the spare is in the trunk, i got 6.5 in the doors, and two 4' mounted on the lower part of the dash, the two speakers behind the seats r still the originals, (no point in changing them can't here them anyway) JVC head unit, sorry no pics yet, to lazy to get film done.
