1979 RX7 rear hatch struts

The ones I ordered from Parts Geek are way to stiff. What are the specs (in lbs.) supposed to be?

Just purchased a set from RockAuto. Same with these, extremely stiff, but will undoubtedly ease over time. Not sure on the specs, sorry.
