I'm willing to give some $$$ to the person who can tell me who owns the car in the following pic or the exact color of the car. I need to be able to contact the owner or if the name of the paint is given, I have to be able to verify it. Please don't waste my time by saying it is dark blue. This pic was taken by a guy named Nathan at sevenstock and he told me that he does not know anything.

I believe that car was on Pettit racing website a few years ago, when they were located in broward county, FL. They had a few front and engine shot too?. I would try them, they may know the owner? Maybe try the SE forum or www.pettitracing.com
good luck....

Pictures can be deceiving, especially when it comes to color. Taking the same pic with different film speeds/settings/etc will yield different results, and the same is true with different brands or models of digicams.
Your best bet is to go to your fav body shop and look at their paint 'chip' sample catalog. View the samples under different lighting conditions (sunny, overcast, etc) as that some paints can look dramatically different under certain conditions.
If you're picky about choosing the exact color you want (and it sounds like you are), this is your best bet. We took 30 mins trying to decide on the perfect 'gunmetal' to dual-tone our pearl-white Pathfinder - there were that many choices...

When I was doing my reading up on the RX-7...I noticed a thread with this very car...
It's located in I beleive Guam or Panama or something like that...and the owner had just gotten it repainted.

Ianewk(spelling?) has the black FD with the blue pearl in it and he's stationed in Italy but supposedly coming back to the states with his car soon. This is a totally different car.
