If you look at this thread in the 3rd Gen forum, you will see links in two of my posts which I did not insert, and which are not relevant to the post text. Why does this happen? I am enough of a doofus without having random links appearing in my posts!!

 

I can only see quotes by someone else and it doesn't say the poster of that quote as they didn't use the quote button.
Am I missing something?

 

They are advertisement links inserted to help pay for the site. You'll find the same on other people's threads and all over other websites on the internet. Nothing you can do about it, nothing to worry about.
