notification glitch - is it only me?
first time I had such a problem ever with a vb type forum
in the options I chose "no email notifications" when there is something new in a thread I am subsrcibed to, as I check the forums often anyway
however the email notifications still keep coming, and with a big time delay
is it only me?

sounds like it is fighting against itself..
Like "come here/go away",sort of thing.
You want to know the info in the thread so you subscribe to notify you...BUT you do not want Emails to tell you of the info?.
I guess it is sending you info anyways..as it should.

May be a glitch. I would say just do not subscribe to threads by default, if you don't want the notifications. You can read this thread and I mention where to change it and what options there are:

Now, there may be threads that you have already subscribed to, so I don't know if you will still get notifications for those. There should be a section in UserCP to modify the threads that you have subscribed to and you should be able to unsubscribe to those. I'm not certain as I do not subscribe to threads.

seems to be the case
I didn't get any for this thread, but got for the ones made before I changed the settings
I guess it can't override it
