Hi guys,

Accidentally posted a reply in the wrong thread... searched this for forum for how to delete a post, found several instances of "use the edit function"--but that doesn't offer a delete option that I could find. Found other comments that only a moderator can delete posts, which appears to be conflicting guidance.

I believe I'm supposed to contact the forum moderator and send a link with a request to delete, but I can't figure out how to identify who that is and, I assume, PM that person.

I understand the need for control over this sort of thing, but this seems needlessly frustrating. If we can't delete a post seconds after realizing an error, perhaps a sticky post in this forum with clear instructions?

u will need to message an admin or mod about having it removed. or, u can report it using the triangle with exclamation mark and ask for it to be deleted.

 

Or you can edit the post and delete the contents and leave a blank post or an explanation.
