Just create a build thread in the BUILD Section of your Generation of car..simple as that.
Your photos?.Pick the best ones!
I usually upload them off my PC.
I did take Pics with my phone, but seeing that guys have some issues with the App,I just loaded them onto my PC from my phone and then unfortunately had to resize to post them.BUT they got posted.

Well I use a cannon camera to take photos cause I'm a photographer and they are really good quality and big files and it just forced me to go less quality on the photos before I could post them. Why is this

Dammit JIM,I'm a Car Guy Dammit..not a Comp TECH..!!lol!..(Star Trek reference..sorry!)

Honestly,I have no clue..but I think it would be an IT problem more than anything rather than a User problem,so don't sweat it.
The Forum is not exactly a Spankin new Tech Savy site. It's been operating on the same platforms for awhile,so if you can bare with it then by all means knock yourself out.Post the best you can with what the site will allow you to post.
(only a True photographer would notice any difference...Right???..)

A lot of times, it can be helpful to save a couple of posts at the beginning of your build thread for future pics. That way, people do not have to search through 100+ pages to find your new pics. They will all be on the first couple of pages.

^^ This... I love reading through build threads, but having to read start to finish to see how the car started to how it is now, that can be

I just wish the build threads were two part. an initial section where only the creators posts show up for posts with pictures and progress, and every other post was below them in a separate section. just requires the poster to quote which post he is referring to. also allowing the original build thread poster to to reply with text posts in the reading section.

This would allow all pictorial updates to be in sequential order at the beginning and the chat and questions to be separate.

Thoughts?

Since there is already a load for the Moderators to take care of,any extra sections are really looked at before they get created.
Usually a progressive thread is day to day or week to week, and pics posted are in that order.
If the Op posts out of order he just does himself an injustice and it really doesn't warrant another section because he "forgot".
Having the OP post his build, then another section for Q and A really involves more than just having it show up.It involves the time of the staff to monitor any posts, pics posted,etc..That is extra hands dealing with this matter and the time of the volunteered staff to do so.It can get real complicated.
The Forum is 100 thousand guys, and that alone is a lot to take care of.
Simplicity as it stands right now with the Section the way it is,will suffice.

There is a Comments and Suggestions Section if you care to post up any other inquires though Monkman..You are always welcome to toss your ideas or input into the skew and see if it can take shape.
Thanks STYX (MOD)

I just researched on this site and kept a data log on what I did to my car. I'm at the end of the important part of my build, get the car running, so now is the time I will post my build as stage 1 complete. Anything else done to the car can be posted in stages to keep the build thread organized.
