WTF! New map, no changes!
Whenever I download a base map and then look at the fuel and ignition maps, nothing is different. And the fuel maps are never staged. Initially I loaded up a base map from claudio and it worked fine. When I download the same one now I don't get the same fuel and ignition maps. I didn't make any changes on the setup page. It doesn't make any sense.

Well I PMd Claudio RX-7 and he stated that it could be one of two things. Either my ecu could be currupt and installing the default map could clear it up. Also, the maps I was downloading windows explorer could be adding an extension to the file and corupting it that way.
I followed both solutions he suggested to fix the problem but it still persists. The only progress I made is the fuel map isn't totally altered. But the major problem still exists. All base maps I download and install come up exactly the same on Haldwin.
Has anyone experienced this problem and fixed it?
BTW: E6X- My tuning laptop is running off of Windows XP.

Are you by any chance trying to open the map file by double clicking it and trying to associate it to the program? Thats not how you do it. You need to open the Halwin software, go to File/Load map and load the file that way.
Also, the files are zipped, are you uncompressing them first?
