windows for e11v2

It's ridiculous how we need to use old wondows applications to run certain Haltech programs. I can't for the **** of me run the Halwin 1.89 on my new laptop .
If I need to use an XP or must run 32 bit to run a Haltech program, Haltech really needs to get **** together and fix it.
Been trying to load up Halwin 1.89 and it won't do it on my W7 64 bit.
Now, it means I'll have to look for an old frickin laptop to get this **** to work.

Haltech stated several years ago that they were ending support for the old E-series units. And before you get your panties in a twist, that is a common procedure in any industry. You're on your own.

Even though this is an old post, i kinda felt like jumping in. But, given the fact that red boxes have been discontinued for over 5 years, and this post is actually around a year old, there really is no need for Haltech to provide support on a discontinued product that was meant to run with older operating systems. Having said that, here is the solution to the 64bit machine dilema, please bare in mind that there is no support provided for what is posted beyond here.

Um funny enough my IT guy at work got my old E8 halwin software to work on my Window 10 64 machine.

Just said some DLL files needed to be updated.

I can Drop box it to you if you want.
