When I load it up it says its version 2. I'm having a very odd trailing spark issue. It doesn't spark until I release the key from start while cranking.

 

Yeah, I ran into that problem with a customer's car, and I believe version 14 is the latest one (well, at least for v6.32 proggie).

Which version is the best? I searched haltech site, but no download links. The only thread about it said you could upgrade the firmware with the haltech software. The only software on their site is the 6.34 program.

 

You need the firmware upload program called "fu2.exe".
I think the Haltech Support YahooGroups has it on their files section?

I prefer v6.34.
I don't need the dual-map crap with the v7.xx.
I heard all the v7.xx programs are buggy.

Just email haltech and tell them what you have, they will send you the files to update your K. Use v6.34, its the most reliable, v7.xx did have bugs.
