what about PS and other details?
I have a 90TII and Im looking at either a E11 or E6 in a month or so. I really want to get the whole wiring system out of the car and do it all by hand. I was wondering if I can use the stock tach? And what do I do with the powersteering? I really want to keep the PS but I dont think Id like it w/o the speed sensitive thingy. Any input would really help.
I really like laying wire so this isnt really a big deal.
Thanks

You can keep the stock tach. Even with the ECU loom out of the car it will work fine. If you want to remove all of the wiring I have no idea.
I ditched the PS but I don't know if it is connected to the ECU main loom anyway so maybe it won't be a problem. It really works just fine with the manual conversion of the PS. Even at low speeds I can handle my car just fine and it is very responsive.

Power steering is a totally separate circuit and control box.
The stock tach needs to be rewired - no biggies, a single wire off the Haltech into the tach input wire, and it all works fine.
