Urgent, Inj connectors?

Hello, midway though build today,

I have an S4 setup on the haltech, and the injector connectors are not the right fit, so can I just cut off the original ecu setup injectors and then re connect to the stock injector connectors.

... In otherwords, their not sensors, so will it make any difference if I put the old S5 connectors on for my S5 engine to replace the haltechs S4 connectors.
for Primary 1 2 and secondary 3 4?

Thats fine and what I did to use stock primary's. The two wires on each injector are just power and signal (ground).

Will just swap over the connectors, solder ect... WIll take time but should work.

Still chapped on trapping and cracking intake arm, should be fine tapping the water, I dont need to go in as far.

LOL, TO anyone whos tapped the intake before, the last owner didn't even set the sensor deep enough, causing it too run rich... @!#@! what a turd probably could have saved alot over that problem....

Sensor was tapped into but it was capturing the flow readings in a pocket, not the flow though the pipe.... FRIG! Will start just changing , wiring is same just from his squares to my s5 ovals.

Thanks Jagger... Kinda obvious as it isn't a sensor that would require differnt sensor/plug.
Off to the gee rawge just want a 2nd opinion.

Whats coloring?

I have S5 TII stock injectors out of a RHD version their Green / stripes and the other is Grey with yellow stripes. 4x

My haltech had aftermarket injectors which I cannot use: his connectors.

The haltech is wired in as All green and all Grey/ Colored Stripes 4x

Should I just go green with green and grey with grey or does it only matter if I get the
primary and secondarys right.

They both are connected togeather so It simply gets power and then sends it back but does it matter on the connectors.
If I "would" install his they would be "upside down". (if they would have fit)

*Im asking, does it matter what goes to where or just as long as the injectors are wired as primary and secondary?

All injectors have grounds.... just need to find out which has a ground on both.

You need to go to the Haltech site, download the wiring for your unit and look over What you are doing.
The wires connected to the injectors are color coded and the Schematic/wiring diagrams tell you that.Do NOT guess.
Also, you have to look at the impedance of the injector and make sure that the Haltech know what impedance they are or you are going to run into problem there too.
I should 4 S5 connectors if you get stuck and I can have them out there for you in a couple days,IF you absolutely need them.

I still have my S5 N374 ECU with all my injector connectors.

I got some information from the guy I got it form very helpful.
For anyone with a RHD S5 It works out toThe Constant divided into 4 Black and Yellow from N374 S5, and then Grey/with coloured stripes to the individual selected Injectors 1,2,3,4.
I just needed to find out what his harness was colored as. Mine was Constant Green and Colored Grey. (just need to double check.)

.... Seems S5 engines don't get backwards ecu upgrades. So if anyone is going from old S4 injectors to S5.... Black/yellow is constant, and If you remember where your individual injectors where id write down the grey/colored.

So now it's his constant green going to my old S5 Hi Imp injectors Black/yellow So they all get power., And now I have his Lb- 1 br-2 gr-3 p-4.
Note no one here noted that the constant doesn't mattter where it goes (4), just the Primary and seconadry injectors from the haltech pins. (4).

Thanks for anyone who tried to contribute, off to garage.

Will need lots of help on inputting numbers... I got my wideband just need it wired in. Will be a fairly large leap from the original map.
But in reality I just need a stock JDM s5T2 setup. Then adjust for flow.
