ummmm, Haltech GB II?!?!?!?

Didn't realize I posted this in the ECU section and not the Haltech section. Ill post it here too.

Well ****, I can't believe I'm gonna post this....guess I just like being a nice guy (*puts gun to head*)

As most of you know, I didn't get a Haltech from this last buy and I STILL need one for my bp single monster. I'm buying my turbo, fmic, haltech, etc from a guy named Tim Possingham from RPM Performance Centre in South Australia. His pricing for the Haltech is, well....let's just say its pretty ing good (considerably lower than the last GB). And since I'm already getting some big *** heavy stuff from him, he is practically charging me zip for shipping on the Haltech (or Haltechs). You guys could easily just order one straight from him and get a good price, but if we coordinate this right you could save an extra ~$60 on shipping costs (since I'm already paying about $300 for shipping my other stuff).

So, here's the deal. IF ANYONE ELSE WANTS A HALTECH, POST HERE NOW! I will be getting back to Seattle on Feb. 7th and making my order for the turbo etc about two weeks after that. So we're looking at around Feb. 21. I can have a final price for each unit a couple days after I get back. Also, I am absolutely requiring payment in advance. Last time I shelled out $3000 of my own monies because people didn't want to trust me. I wont do that again. Also realize this, I am ordering from AUSTRALIA. It takes time to get stuff several thousand miles across the ocean. So if you need a Haltech RIGHT NOW...I CANNOT help you out. And we wont need to get 10 people or whatever to get a good price. Tim's single unit price (for Haltech, flying loom, 3-bar MAP and all sensors) is already cheaper than $1000.

We'll see how this shapes up and if there is any more interest.

Later,
Brad

Oh, btw...you can send me emails inquiring about this, but I'm stuck in *** Beaumont TX until Feb 7th and have very limited computer access. So it may be another week before I can respond.

hey guys,

sorry but I decided not to do this. There wasnt too much interest in the first place, and the more I think about it I dont want to deal with any more hassles. And these group buys are 100% hassle. Sorry

but just to let you guys know I bought mine from Tim @ www.rpmperformancecentre.com.au the price was $1570 AUD (less than $800 USD) for E6K with flying loom and 3-bar MAP sensor. And thats including shipping to the US.

Tim shipped out two Haltechs from Adelaide Australia on the 18th of this month. They were at my door on the 21st.

His shipping from AUSTRALIA got here faster than ANY PARTS I have EVER ordered from RX7.COM, RX7 Store, M2 Performance, etc.

Now my turbos and FMIC we're a different story. They were held at customs for 5 days. Still, it only took about 10 days to get here...STILL faster than ANY parts I have EVER EVER ordered from ANY other dealer. Can anyone tell I am a little bitter on how FREAKING LONG it takes to get parts!

The international freight company he uses is called TNT. http://www.tnt.com.au they are very good and very fast.

Actually, no. All it came with was ECU, flying loom harness, 3-bar MAP sensor, software, and instruction manual. You still need all the sensors (air temp, coolant temp, tps), the connectors, as well as the fuses and relays. I didn't buy these parts from AUS because they are simple generic GM parts and can be had for very cheap here in the US.

Still, for EVERYTHING including shipping it was around $900. I think the best retail deal out there right now is K2RD and their kit with everything is $1300 +shipping.
