Tuning w/ the Haltech, and O2 sensors?

How do people usually tune their cars once they get the Haltechs installed? If you do it yourself, do you use a Wideband O2 sensor (and if so, which one?)

Are there any shops around Southern California that can do this (at least the 1st time, until I get the hang of it)? What does that usually cost?

Thanks!
Manolis

chassis dyno runs about $100 to $150 an hour depending on the operator. A good operator familiar with Haltech can do most cars in 3-4 hours. road or track tuning can be done with an O2 sensor or EGT, this is not a simple thing to do and could cause terminal engine failure if done wrong.

for the most part a stock map will work fine. i have been using the stock HITMAN map for like 2 months and no problems at all. really fast too on this setup below..... but i will be switching to a map for the 1600's this week.

Hey Rx_treme...

Is the stock map maybe a little lean for a DP, etc?

On another note, how'd you manage to shoehorn 245/45R17's under your car? (are they on the front too?)

Thanks!,

it runs pretty good but on sunday i will be putting my 1600's, upgraded rail, walbro pump, and better map in so we'll see how it runs after that.

The 245's fit fine. I originally had them on there with 1" spacers but when i hit any gas or turned kinda fast it would rub really bad. so i took em off and it fits fine.
On the front are 225/45/17's that very rarely rub.
