Haltech Is there any way to run the older software on Windows XP ?

Is there any way to run the older software on Windows XP ?

Haltech guru's, is there a simple way to run the older software , like E6K, F9A etc. on Windows XP ?

Not that anybody's found, unless you use DOSBox or Virtual PC.

I run the E6k v634 fine on my XP Pro Service Pack 2 system. I just run "cmd" and it works fine for me.

The software works and displays as it should, but the problem is the actual communication thru the serial cable. BUT !! as Claudio advised, I downloaded Virtual PC and the Windows 95 virtual hard disk and presto ! Its seems to be working pretty well !

Thanks Claudio, I even experimented using it on a Netbook, using the USB port and USB to serial port cable and it works !! May have one or two occasional glitches, but nevertheless it does work !
