Exclamation TDC offset angle

Dumb question here but; when dialing in this setting should I have the timing light on the leading or trailing coil for the front rotor?

should be no issue but apparently racing beat changed their main pulley over the years and my FFE trigger won't fit in the same position - so i'm 5 teeth off, just not sure if im 50-60 degrees ahead or behind. looking to avoid any unnecessary cranking before firing up the motor the 1st time...

Doesn’t matter. When the ignition lock is set at 0 with 0 split, both L1 and T1 fire at TDC.

Thank you - that makes sense.

I'm spot on then so something else is the problem.

EDIT: It was a **** battery - all good now
