Haltech TB brackets
TB brackets
maybe this should be in the WTB section but I wanted actual haltechers to get this.
My current allocation of tools (or rather mis-allocation), living situation, and dorky schedule makes it a biznitch to fabricate even basic junk so is there anybody out there that be willing to fab up a cheap bracket to hold a haltech tps to an S5 TII TB?
I have a ghetto rig right now but i think it's allowing the tps to move a tad and it was never meant to be permanent anyway.
I'm getting some odd stumbles and misfires at specific RPM's and throttle positions and the car seems to switch between cruising and mild acceleration randomly at constant throttle (very mild surging). I don't want to mess with other crap till I'm sure this is straight.
thanks.

I had that on the N/A TB that was on the car. Now that I switched over to a TII intake with a ported, modded TB the TPS that was on there wouldn't fit. I needed a different bracket, going from N/a to a turbo TB.
I had to make a decision and I just decided that I liked the haltech design better, seemed cleaner to me, less crap on the TB, and I was going to need to buy something one way or another.
So, I got the haltech sensor for a decent price on there forum here, wiring was cake, and fired the car up. I'm not having trouble getting the car to run, the TB works fine. the problems I'm having may very well be something else, but I want to eliminate this first.
The bracket would be simple to make, I'm just not at my home, I'm traveling for the summer. So if anybody would like to help me out I'll owe you a beer, and if you're in Missouri or Cali, you may actually get to collect on that.
