T2 s4 no spark ps1000

Hey guys I need help!? I am not physically seeing any spark when grounding a plug in the leading or trailing spark plug wire. The engine will not start. This is a fresh rebuild as well. My tach is moving on a off during cranking but it will not start. This is on a ps1000 haltech

Do you see an rpm reading in your ECU Manager software while cranking?

Do you get RPM and, if yes, what is the reading for trigger since last home?

Update i got the car to start but took forever and will not hold a solid idle. My rpm needle is sti acting weird as in coming and going. For example when running holding at a solid 3k the needle will show 3k rpm but fall to zero, then come back to 3 k. Does this consistently.

The tach needle is irrelevant to how it’s running. Log RPM and trigger since last home. Post a link to the log along with your map file.

s4 t2

I have an s4 t2. And I'm looking into getting a haltech ps1000. So far are you happy with it or what pros and cons can you share. I've heard people with newer haltechs calling it a dinosaur ecu etc. But must be better than my rtek 2.1. Anyways any input feedback appreciated.

Hi I'm having the P1000 in my FC racecar, it's not bad but it's got some downsides.

-After 15min of racing it shut down because the polyfuse in the ecu overheated. really annoying thing, I solved it by bypassing the polyfuse with a melt fuse.
-No knock control , the Elite has afaik.
-closed loop boost control didnt work for me, controling was super slow
-target boost cant easyly be affected by TPS ( went the long way via the TPS as a fuel composition sensor )
-the threshold for the trigger was set too high in the base map, so my car didnt start when hot, also very annoying, took me half a trackday to figure out
-has no brakets to bolt it down
-internal map sensor has a slight offset that cant be corrected

Thats about it...besides this, it's a great ECU
