Successfule use of Haltech Boost Controller

Anybody have good luck with the boost controller. Currently I am getting creep from 12psi (what I want) to 18! Ouuch, good thing fuels there) I've been playing with the map a bit but, should I continue or just buy a Profec or even a manual boost controller. Let me know your experience. Thanks

Oh this is a T04s on an HKS mani and a 40mm hks wastegate with 10# spring.

If I turn off the boost controller I don't believe it bypasses and I would see very high boost (not sure though) but hooked up directly from wastegate to turbo, I notice no creep. But low end boost response and torque suffer.
