That looks very close. Don't forget to verify the timing with the engine running.

i locked it at -5* and wile cranking it had to adjust avery tiny bit, when runnig though it seemed erratic but the idle was at like 1,300it was a fresh rebuild on a first startupdont know if that makes a difference or not.

Looks slightly advanced, but close enough to tweak with trigger angle or rotating the CAS.

Fresh rebuild will have nothing to do with zero'ing the timing. If the spark is jumping all over the place there's an issue. With the timing locked - you should be able to have the timing mark on the pulley dead on while idling and it should stay dead on the mark when revved up. If its scattering around theres an issue.

yeah, that's about how mine is and I could zero the timing from that position... if you had the timing light on and locked and had the timing mark lined up with the pin on the front cover you're good to go.

the high idle can be figured out, I would suspect something with the TPS, or maybe something in the Haltech, is goofed up.

edit:

I just re-read your post--was the car warmed up when you zero'd the timing? if not, redo it just to be 100% safe.

good luck.

that would most likely be the map. possible its some weird trigger issue too.

Impossible its the map if he had the trigger locked.

Read hitman's site for the steps to zero the timing. Make sure its staying on the mark when revved up, if its scattering around or moving one way or another thats BAD!
