Shift light on E6k

Who's running the Shift Light function, and is it as easy as hooking the power to one side and the neg to the proper pwm???

I use a small led mounted in my A pillar gauge pod so I don't need a relay. Like Ted said, don't use a light that will draw over 1 amp unless you use a relay.
